Comprising four distinctive academic departments, our School is the biggest in Birkbeck and our research output places it among the best in the UK. Thanks to the depth and breadth of the School’s teaching and research, our students learn from academic staff who are experts in their field.

Our School Open Evenings are a great opportunity to get the answers to any questions you may have about starting your studies with Birkbeck, and give you the opportunity to explore the Birkbeck campus.

Campus Tours and Study Skills sessions will also be available along with information about student life, fees and funding and support services.

5.00pm – Registration (Birkbeck, Malet Street - entrance on Torrington Square)

5.15pm – Talks

  • Department of Computer Science & Information Systems
  • Department of Economics, Mathematics & Statistics
  • Department of Management (5.15pm Postgraduate / 5.15pm Undergraduate)
  • Department of Organizational Psychology

    6.00pm* - Study Skills sessions

‘Managing your time’ OR
‘Maths +/- Your Degree: A quick guide to maths support at Birkbeck’
*Study Skills sessions will be repeated at 6.30pm for those who want to attend both

7.00pm – Campus Tours / Library Tours (self-guided)

Visit our Hub Room (open from 5-7pm) for refreshments and further information about:
