Qualitative 'Methods in Action' Day: Working with images, Working with texts and Working with the mind

When:
Venue: Birkbeck Clore Management Centre

No booking required

We are delighted to invite you to a Qualitative ‘Methods in Action’ day event, hosted by the Department of Organizational Psychology's Qualitative Research Group.

The day will feature a mix of presentations and more hands-on workshops by academic staff, current and recently completed PhD students from the department.

We are also delighted to announce that the keynote address will be given by Professor Nigel King of the University of Huddersfield. He is the leading authority on template analysis and his work in this will be familiar to many of you from journal papers or from using this analytic approach in your own research projects.

Our aim is to deliver an informal overview of some of the innovative or less traditional methods (including narrative and visual approaches) that are currently being used in the qualitative research undertaken in the department. There will be plenty of opportunity to talk to staff and PhD students about their work and to find out more about these methods and what these can contribute to knowledge and understanding in organizational research.
