Would you like to apply for any of our undergraduate degree courses? It doesn’t matter if it’s still just an idea or if you’ve found your dream course, and want to know how to get a place, our Get Started workshops are for you!
So you want to go to university, but aren't sure where to start? Birkbeck's Access and Engagement team are here to help!
This free and friendly workshop Studying at University, will give you the chance to:
- talk about the benefits of going to university
- find out about practical solutions and available support to overcome challenges
- reflect on your personal motivations for studying your chosen course
- learn how to complete the online application form
- meet one of our student ambassadors, find out about their journey to Birkbeck and ask them questions
The workshop is open to those who have a course in mind already or those who are making the first tentative steps. We aim for you to leave with useful and practical information to help you take the next step towards making an application to study.
We will send you some pre-course materials in advance to help you to prepare for the session and we encourage you to complete these beforehand to enable you to get the most out of the workshop.
