At Birkbeck we want to ensure you have access to useful, tailored careers advice and work experience in order to successfully enter and remain in the workplace.
We want to continue to have a clear understanding of our disabled students’ needs and to be able to fully support their transition from studying to joining or returning to the workplace.
Our experienced Employability Consultants are on hand to offer one to one careers advice in these dedicated one to one sessions in which you can speak in confidence to the Ability Team re anything that may be on your mind in terms of your career development, anything you are unsure of or need help with:
Job Hunting
CVs (Gaps and Poor academics)
Cover letters
Personal Statements
Interviews
Disclosure
Workshops
Online tools
And anything else you need help with.
