Birkbeck has launched a new programme, 'Birkbeck Inspires', a free online events, activities and resources programme designed to inspire learning, provoke thought, and entertain and excite curious minds.
A global pandemic and recession may seem like bad timing to start a new business. In this Birkbeck Inspires session, Jenna Davies, Enterprise Lead with Birkbeck Futures, discusses the opportunities for budding entrepreneurs today. Joined by Merlie Calvert, CEO & Founder of legal tech start-up Farillio, and Doyin Olorunfemi, PhD candidate and CEO of MAPHer, they will explore the value of turning an idea into reality, alongside key considerations for those taking their first steps. There will also be an opportunity for a question and answer session with Jenna, Merlie and Doyin.
