USING IMAGES IN YOUR RESEARCH

Open to PhD students and early career researchers from any discipline, this workshop introduces the ethics and responsibilities around image use, and offers some useful advice on communicating research through design. It will be led by photographer and filmmaker Penelope Quinton, drawing on her experience in print and online journalism both as an author of images which have then been used by others, and as a practitioner communicating visually. Attendees will have the opportunity to test design and presentation ideas using their own topics of research.

Pennie is a doctoral candidate in the school of global health and social medicine at King's College London.
