Preparation for Higher Education Workshop
Event description
At this free workshop you will find out all you need to know about returning to undergraduate study.
This interactive workshop is a great way to explore the benefits of returning to study, identify what may be possible challenges and find realistic solutions to ensure you make the most of every opportunity. We will discuss what will be expected of you as a student, and give you information about Birkbeck student support services including study skills and disability support. By the end of the workshop you will be able to put the necessary plans in place to ensure you hit the ground running when you start your course.
The Preparing for Higher Education workshop is a monthly occurence and is repeated on the following dates:

Attendee feedback
“Very well organised workshop. It was refreshing to realise that everyone else shared most of the same concerns about the various academic and financial challenges. Overall left feeling very encouraged and have subsequently submitted my course application.”
"Instead of feeling utter fear and panic, I can't wait to begin. Not having that weight on my shoulders allows me to prepare for the things I will need to organise and manage, instead of spending most of the time trying to fight shadows.”
