Independent Employment? Business Pioneers Workshop (part of Bloomsbury Festival 2017)

When:
Venue: External

No booking required

As part of Bloomsbury Festival 2017, Birkbeck has been invited to run a public workshop focusing on independent employment and entrepreneurship. In this practical workshop, a case study (selected based on the Festival's theme of Independence) will be discussed as well as the participants' attitudes to independence as employees, independent workers, entrepreneurs or otherwise. There will be hands-on activities along the way and a facilitated ideation process to help bring new ideas to life. Drawing from parts of our highly successful Pioneer programme for Birkbeck students, this workshop aims to provide confidence and knowledge to those who attend as part of this wonderful annual festival. The workshop is not aimed at children but will be family-friendly (although children will need to be supervised at all times).

Places at the workshop are open to the public and are free, but you must register in advance on the Festival website.
