Bootcamp: Freelancing, Side Gigs & Setting up on your own

When:
Venue: Birkbeck Main Building, Malet Street

No booking required

As a brand new partner university with IPSE, The Association for Independant Professionals & the Self Employed, we're looking forward to hosting a hands on bootcamp every term to boost your freelance ventures!

We're extending Global Entrepreneurship Week to kick off the first of three bootcamps this year with IPSE and it's definitely one to attend.

The session will cover:

  • An introduction to self-employment - the content and landscape
  • The benefits and challenges of working for yourself
  • Shifts and trends you need to know
  • Practicalities of setting up and running your business
  • Plus: your chance to gain a free one year membership with IPSE!

This will all be covered from a practical perspective with key examples of freelancers' experiences.

IPSE is the voice of the UK's self-employed population - who now make up one in seven people working today.

They provide their members with the help they need to run their businesses with peace of mind while ensuring freelancers, interim managers, consultants and contractors are represented to Government.

We're delighted to bring IPSE to campus to run this invalauble session and we look forward to seeing you there!

Be sure to register your place asap, as spaces are limited.
