This event is aimed at prospective postgraduate and undergraduate students who are thinking about applying to Birkbeck, University of London for admission in 2018 and 2019. Applicants and offer holders for 2017 are also invited to attend. The format of the event will include presentations from senior academics at the university (representing the School of Business, the School of Arts and the School of Social Sciences) and the International Office, followed by a prospective student and alumni reception. By attending the lecture series and reception, students will have a chance to speak with senior academics, International Office staff and alumni of the university, ask questions, find out more about life in London and start the application process.

Dr Klaus Nielsen, Professor of Institutional Economics, and Dr Simone Wesner, Programme Director in Arts Policy and Management will present a fascinating lecture series on the impact of digital technology on the international creative industries. Dr Alex Colas, Assistant Dean of Politics, will deliver a lecture about International Relations.

You will also have the chance to discuss your applications with the international office and Chinese alumni from Birkbeck, and receive a personal invitation to a networking reception following the lecture series at the Landmark Towers Hotel Restaurant.
