After Leveson. What sort of Press Regulation?

Birkbeck’s Centre for the Study of British Politics and Public Life is holding a half-day event on the future of press regulation in Britain:
There will be two panel discussions:
1. (14:00-15:30) What has the Leveson process told us?
2. (16:00-17:30) The issue of press regulation.
Both panels will be chaired by Tony Wright, Professorial Fellow in the Department of Politics at Birkbeck, Visiting Professor of Government and Public Policy at UCL and former Member of Parliament for Cannock Chase.

Martin Moore, Director of the Media Standards Trust.
Professor Steven Barnett, University of Westminster.
Professor Jean Seaton, University of Westminster and Director of the Orwell Prize.
Peter Dobbie, former Political and Executive Editor of the Mail on Sunday.
Evan Harris, former MP and adviser to the Hacked Off Campaign.
Refreshments will be served and a reception will follow.
