The community of Birkbeck Learning Development Tutors hopes that this initiative will help students to feel more confident about writing in a scholarly, analytical way and will make a welcome contribution to the efforts being pursued across the College to promote good academic practice among students at every level.

The Academic Writing Day will take place on Saturday 25 February in the Main Birkbeck Building with lectures and workshops being offered from 10am to 12.30pm and from 1 to 3.30pm.
