Speaker: Professor Paul Ginsborg

Visiting Professor Paul Ginsborg, one of Europe's pre-eminent historians and a hugely influential figure in the history and life of modern Italy, will be giving a lecture on 1968 AND THE FAMILY. Paul is a leading authority on contemporary Italy, where he taught at the University of Florence from 1992. He writes regularly for journals and newspapers and in recent years has been at the forefront of Italian civil society's mobilisation in defence of democracy. He is the author of many books, and most recently of Family Politics, published by Yale in 2016.
