Profile

Peter Damrau is lecturer in German with research interests in devotional literature of the 17th century and women's writing of the 18th century.

He has published in journals such as German Life and Letters, German Quarterly, Modern Language Review and Journal of European Studies and his book The Reception of English Puritan Literature in Germany (2006) was published in the Bithell Series.

In a project funded by the Business Relations Unit at Birkbeck and in collaboration with Dr. Alexander Weber, he is currently developing tailor-made language courses for companies based in the UK.
