About Professor Tom Healy
Renaissance Studies and co-founder (with Susan Wiseman) of The London Renaissance Seminar, which has been a focal point for early modern research in the UK for 20 years.
His previous books include studies of Crashaw, Marlowe, and theory and Renaissance literature. He has edited Literature and the English Civil War, the Longman critical reader on Marvell, and The Arnold Anthology of British and Irish Literature in English.
He is currently completing a study of sectarianism and the early modern imagination and a collection of essay called Renaissance Transformations: The Making of English Writing, 1500-1680.
