International Research Students

  • I have temporarily acted as the London supervisor for visiting PhD students from the universities of Krakow and Rome, working respectively on Virginia Woolf and intertextuality and the fictional representation of Irish immigrants to London.
  • In 2011-12 I was supervisor of David Vichnar, a scholar from Prague who won the Anglo-Czech Fund for a visiting research scholarship and elected to work with me at Birkbeck.

In 2003-2004 I was Assistant Director of Graduate Studies.
