Honorary Research fellows
Artistic associates: In order to build on our history of fostering artist and critic development we offer two associate artist positions each year at the Centre, where artists can develop and research projects with the support and supervision of theatre staff in the department. We hope that these positions will offer a genuine knowledge exchange between artists and the institution. We offer these associates a stipend of £1,000 per year and three termly supervisions along with access to our studio, gallery and office spaces. In return, these artists offer one class to our students and one public event per term, culminating in a presentation of the work they have done during the year to a public audience (this may involve a workshop, performance, installation or talk, depending on the nature of the artist’s work).
We are delighted to welcome Jonathan Young and Teunkie Van Der Slijus who have joined us as our new Associate Artists for 2012-13.
We also welcome a series of honorary research fellows who contribute to the life of the Centre and use its facilities to develop their own work.
