Winton Capital PhD Mathematics Scholarship
A scholarship, sponsored by Winton Capital, is available to fund a 3.5 year full time PhD in Mathematics.
We are delighted to announce a scholarship kindly sponsored by Winton Capital, which would fund the successful applicant throughout a 3.5 year full time PhD in Mathematics at Birkbeck, University of London. The scholarship will cover the fees of a “Home” student, in addition to an annual stipend of £15,000. Mathematics research strengths at Birkbeck include Algebra, Combinatorics and Financial Mathematics. Birkbeck strongly supports initiatives to improve the gender balance in STEM subjects – half our senior faculty in Mathematics is female, more than double the national average, and we particularly welcome applications from women candidates for this scholarship.
