    Short biography

    Professor Kapur's current research interests span economic and financial regulation, and broad issues related to emerging economies. He has a PhD in economics from University of Cambridge and has previously held teaching appointments at Cambridge, Wharton (UPenn) and George Washington University.

    He serves as the Head of the Economics and Finance group. He also directs the Department's Executive Training programme, and in this capacity has designed and delivered training for many public and private sector organizations.
