Maintenance

The maintenance section is responsible for the structural integrity, efficient maintenance and safe functioning of all buildings owned or leased by Birkbeck. We also oversee building works and the installation and function of new equipment.

Our team of skilled craftspeople respond to works requests and also carry out planned, preventative maintenance and regular inspections and checks, to ensure good practice and compliance with statutory requirements.

Request maintenance work

To report a fault or request maintenance work, you can raise an ASK query (via My Birkbeck for members of staff) or contact the Estates and Facilities helpdesk if the request is urgent
