Sir John Arthur Thomson (1861-1933)

Sir John Arthur Thomson (1861-1933) was a Scottish naturalist and Regius Professor of Natural History at the University of Aberdeen from 1899-1930 who, alongside his studies of marine life, wrote popular works attempting to reconcile science with religion including What Is Man? (1923) and Science and Religion (1925).
