Biography

Dr Lina Dzuverovic is Lecturer in Arts Management and Policy at Birkbeck’s Department for Film, Media and Cultural Studies, an independent curator and founding director of Electra, a London-based contemporary arts organisation.

Formerly Lina taught Fine Art at the University of Reading (2015 - 2018) and was Artistic Director at Calvert 22 Foundation (2011-2014) and Executive Director of Electra (2003 - 2011). Lina has also held curatorial positions at Momentum - Nordic Biennial of Contemporary Art, Norway (2009), London's Institute of Contemporary Arts (2002 - 03) and the Lux Centre (1996 - 2000). In 2006 Lina was Arts Council England's Decibel Mid-Career Curatorial Fellow.
