Sheila Dickie, BA, PG Dip

History of Dance

Sheila trained at the Royal Ballet Upper School, Middlesex University & University of Surrey. Having performed for various companies in the 60's as a dancer she became principle of her own dance school based in the Hampstead Garden Suburb Institute.

Since 1991 Sheila has been teaching Dance History, Dance Appreciation and as Head of Dance at Hackney Community College.

Amongst other related interests she has served on the Board of Management of the British Ballet Organisation, and has worked as assessor for the Dance Department of London Arts Board.
