Eva Recacha, MA

Theory and Practise: Choreology

Eva Recacha studied Contemporary Dance at LCDS graduating in 2000 with an MA in Choreography.

She founded Proyecto Babel in Spain in 2001, a project engaging artists from different disciplines in the making of dance. With Proyecto Babel she has created work that has been shown at Festivals in Spain such as Festival Shakespeare Santa Susanna, Dies de Dansa, Lekuz Leku, Periferias, Trayectos, Actual and Fest Alt amongst others.

As a dancer, Eva has been recently performing in F rauke Requardt’s works Road Kill Café (2008) and Jammy Dodgers (2006-07), and in Lost Dog’s Hungry Ghosts (2008), performing in England, Germany, France, Portugal and Italy.

Eva has also been a member of inFlux (Switzerland) from 1999, dancing in most of the company productions. Eva teaches Composition at the LCDS and Choreology at LCDS, Birkbeck and Conservatorio Superior de Danza Maria de Avila (Spain). Eva also taught Choreology for Candoco Foundation Course up until its closure.
