Junko Kinukawa

Junko Kinukawa is a sessional lecturer in Japanese language at Birkbeck where she has been teaching Advanced Japanese as well as the Beginners’ Japanese class since 2005).

Previously she taught Japanese language classes at the University of Michigan (1999-2000), the University of Tokyo (2002-2003), the Alpha Japanese Language Institute both in Tokyo and London (since 2004) as well as in a London law firm (2008-2009) and the London Business School (since 2009).

Junko Kinukawa holds a BA in Education Studies from Kyoto Women’s University (Japan) and the Japanese Ministry of Education (MEXT) accredited License for Teaching Japanese as a Foreign Language. She has lived and worked in London since 2005.
