Administration

I am the Programme Director for the BA Journalism and Media, and along with Dr Shinji Oyama I co-direct the BA Journalism and Japanese.

Most of my current committee involvement is in the area of teaching and learning. I am a member of my department’s Learning and Quality Enhancement Committee as well as the School of Arts’ Teaching and Quality Enhancement Committee. I have also recently chaired a special teaching pattern working group for Media and Cultural Studies, and have an ongoing involvement and interest in the further development and implementation of virtual learning environments. Recently, I became a member of Birkbeck College’s Academic Board.
