Film Screening: KanZeOn

KanZeOn

Birkbeck will be hosting a Special Advance Film Screening of the documentary film KanZeOn by cinema iloobia/Dissolving Path on Monday, 29 November 2011 at the Birkbeck Cinema (43 Gordon Square).

This documentary film presents a mystical understanding of sound, revealed through encounters with remarkable musicians and rituals in Southern Japan. Unconventional, visually rich and surprising, the audience is invited to become immersed into a world where the presence of the divine is always close.

The filmmakers will be present and answering your questions after the screening.

Doors open at 19:40 and entry is free, but booking is essential. To book your seat, please register with Nicola Liscutin by email (n.liscutin@bbk.ac.uk) by Thursday, 25 November.
