Doing Media and Cultural Studies at Birkbeck

Staff from the Department of Media and Cultural Studies will give an overview of what we teach and how, along with a survey of the current state of the media industries.  This will incorporate a discussion of what we mean by media in the first place, the challenges facing media professionals and the impacts and opportunities of digital media.

Subject areas covered include: Film and Media, Journalism.
