Currently her research is focussed on behaviour in relation to a specific chronic illness, urological cancer. Over the past sixteen years, she has worked with colleagues to develop knowledge and understanding of the management of challenges to health and psychological wellbeing in different contexts. These projects have taken a multi-level approach to the study of psychological wellbeing and health-related behaviour and have examined these issues at the level of the individual and the system / organisation.
