Research projects

As part of its work, the Centre seeks to undertake externally-funded research projects and to support collaborative research initiatives involving colleagues from Birkbeck, other academic institutions and non-academic agencies and community groups.

Current externally-funded projects being managed through the Centre are:

• Negotiating religion and the secular in UK Higher Education: an exploration of the policy implications of conflicts relating to student faith groups (AHRC collaborative doctoral award, managed in conjunction with the National Union of Students)
