Federica Rossi has been with Birkbeck’s Management Department since 2011, having joined the college as a research fellow in 2007. Previously, she held various research fellowships at universities in Italy. She has collaborated with the OECD, the World Intellectual Property Organization, the UK’s Strategic Advisory Board for Intellectual Property, the EC/Eurostat and regional and local development agencies. Her current research examines how can universities support business innovation, the role of universities as drivers of economic development and growth, the economics and management of intellectual property rights, and innovation policy. Recently she has studied the impact of knowledge transfer activities, and metrics for performance measurement in knowledge transfer.
