Julia Collins

Julia Collins was appointed as an independent Governor in November 2011. She was appointed to the audit committee as a co-opted member in 2010 and the HR Strategy and Policy Committee in 2012.  She was the Senior Bursar of Gonville & Caius College, Cambridge 2007 - 2012. Previously she was the Operations Director for the management consultancy practice Langsdale Crook LLP as well as a client service partner specialising in financial management advice. She began her career working for PMM & Co (now KPMG) where she qualified as a Chartered Accountant, and then worked for several years in finance line management roles with Reed International and Taylor Woodrow. She worked for PriceWaterhouseCoopers from 1986 to 2002, being appointed to the partnership in 1995 and undertaking several roles including EMEA leader of Learning, Knowledge Management and Methods. Her current roles include governor and trustee of Newport Free Grammar School and member of the committee of Kettles Yard, Cambridge.
