Innovation in periods of emergency – CIMR at the Bloomsbury Festival 2020

The Centre of Innovation Management Research at Birkbeck has been invited to organize an event at the Bloomsbury Festival 2020.

The event organized by CIMR is a panel discussion reflecting on the experience of Covid-19 in its different phases, from lockdown to a new start, looking at how innovation processes, modes and practices have evolved. Taking on the different research streams on innovation and Covid-19, the panel will share insights and ideas on how a system of innovation reacts in the case of an emergency to go through it and learn from it. The reflection should take us towards a system of innovation prepared to face unknown emergencies, a sort of emergency-proof system of innovation.
