Professor Helen Lawton Smith is co-investigator for a project titled, ‘Increasing Participation of People with Disabilities and People from BAME Communities in Business Innovation‘. This is an Innovation Caucus project being undertaken on behalf of an Economic & Social Research Council (ESRC)/Innovate UK grant award.
The project runs until 31 August 2019 and the research will build a strong evidence base and rationale for Innovate UK’s future diversity and inclusion work. It will identify the challenges and opportunities for increasing the participation of people with disabilities and people from Black, Asian and minority ethnic (BAME) communities in business innovation.
