  • ‘Eccentricities of a Blonde-haired Girl’ (2009) (64mins; ‘Singularidades de uma Rapariga Loura’), based on a Portuguese 19th Century classic short story by Eça de Queirós.

Third Session: 6pm – 9pm

  • ‘La Lettre’ (1999) (107mins; ‘The Letter’, ‘A Carta’), based on ‘La Princesse de Clèves’ by Madame de La Fayette (In French)

Tuesday, 26 June

First Session: 10am -1pm

  • ‘The Fifth Empire’ (2004) (127mins; ‘O Quinto Imperio: Ontem Como Hoje’), based on the 20th C. Portuguese play, ‘El Rei Sebastião’ by José Régio
