The School of Business, Economics & Informatics awarded student prizes to its highest achieving postgraduate students in May 2015. The annual Prize Giving Ceremony celebrates the exceptional performance of the winners. The award was hosted by the Dean of the School, Professor Philip Powell and was attended by staff and personal guests of the prize winners who received a certificate, a personal letter of congratulation and a monetary award.

The prize winners for each of the four departments are:

Department of Management

  • Alastair Yap: Best Module result
  • Rubina Faber: Best Dissertation
  • Diana Daoud: Best Overall International Student
  • Philip Turbutt: Best Overall Student
  • Matthew Johnson: The Big Innovation Prize (for the best dissertation in the area of innovation)
  • Caroline Robertson: Sandra Mottoh Award (for the best MSc Corporate Governance & Business Ethics student)

 

Department of Organizational Psychology

  • Angela Wilson: Best Module result AND Best Overall Student (Joint winner)
  • Gareth Thomas: Best Dissertation MSc Medical Leadership
  • Charmaine Portelli: Best Dissertation
  • Pui Man Ho: Best Overall International Student (Joint winner)
  • Samuel Barrett: Best Overall International Student (Joint winner)
  • Timothy Parkin: Best Overall Student (Joint winner)

Department of Economics, Mathematics & Statistics

  • Damian Coltzau: Best Module result
  • Stefan Baatz: Best Dissertation
  • Seong Ju Ahn: Best Overall International Student

Department of Computer Science & Information Systems
