Business Week 2012

2012 is a momentous year for London, and in London's evening university,
 we have much to celebrate.

Our Department of Management is 20 years
 young, Economics has been taught at Birkbeck for 40 years, and the
 Department of Organizational Psychology was founded five decades ago.
 One of the founding fathers of computing, Andrew Booth, was here at 
Birkbeck some 60 years ago, and his legacy lives on.

Joining our cast of acclaimed Birkbeck academics are some exceptional 
external guests, notably Professor Andrew Pettigrew who will deliver 
this year's Alec Rodger Memorial Lecture, and Will Hutton, who is scheduled to give a talk on Thursday 28th June.

Business Week is a great opportunity for prospective and current
 students to meet alumni and some of the School's business partners.  New
 this year is a PhD conference. So, if you are curious about progressing
 your course of study to doctoral level do join us.
