Elaine Glaser

Eliane Glaser is Senior Lecturer in Creative Writing at Bath Spa University, an Associate Research Fellow in FMACS at Birkbeck, a Visiting Fellow at St Catherine’s College, Oxford (2017) and a BBC radio producer.

She is the recipient of BIRMAC’s Research Fellow Knowledge Exchange fund for 2017-18, with the initiative, Anti-Politics in Media and Culture

 

Biography : 

Eliane is also a writer of non-fiction and journalism. Her book, Get Real: How to See Through the Hype, Spin and Lies of Modern Life (2012), is about how ideology works in contemporary politics, culture and media. It explores how political and financial elites legitimise themselves by co-opting authenticity, people-power, grassroots localism and progressive ideals.
