Teaching Committees, Working Parties and Other Groups

I sit on an alarming number of College Committees: Academic Board, Communications and IT, Teaching Committee, Widening Participation and Student Support. I am Chair of the College Safety Committee.

As College eLearning Coordinator, I chair the eLearning Advisory Group (eLAG, for short), a collection of eLearning enthusiasts and leaders from around the College. We are charged with the writing and updating of the College's eLearning Strategy and undertake various tasks related to eLearning on behalf of the College Teaching Committee. In this role, I also sit on the Steering Group of the Bloomsbury Learning Environment, which oversees implementation of the shared Blackboard VLE service for the Bloomsbury Colleges. Currently, I am leading the migration from WebCT to Blackboard across Birkbeck.
