Information for New Users

People wanting to make use of the Lab resources should initially contact Ambrose Cole for a quick training session on the equipment in the lab.

• To help with this there is an induction booklet that is available that covers some of the safety considerations when using the various pieces of kit.
• Following a quick induction users should fill in, and return via email, a project form giving basic user and project information which helps with lab management and synchrotron trip preparation.
• Following this swipe cards will be activated and user details will be sent out for CrystalTrak.
