MPhil/PhD students

As a PhD student in the Department of Biological Sciences, you are part of a rich research environment at Birkbeck and University College London. The department is part of a multidisciplinary centre for world-class research, the Institute of Structural Molecular Biology (ISMB), which seeks to integrate techniques from the chemical and physical sciences to provide insight into the molecular basis of biological processes.

Principles and practice in structural biology: lecture course

This lecture course on structural biology is especially for MRes and PhD students and includes discussion and question sessions, as well as practicals with equipment and computer software. The course is organised by Professor Helen Saibil.
