The overall aim of the study is to explore some of the factors facilitating and inhibiting the supply of part-time provision in the UK, especially at undergraduate level. It will also update some of the previous work commissioned by UUK on part-time study..

The awareness and take-up of institutional bursaries
Funder: Office for Fair Access (£102,000)
The research is exploring HEIs strategies and marketing techniques for increasing the awareness of bursaries among students and parents and HEIs actions for improving bursary take-up. It will also examine the awareness and understanding of students, parents and advisors of bursaries, how they learn about them, and whether bursaries influence students’ decisions about where and what to study at university.
