How do studies of museums, art and architecture change if we start with small spaces? How do small spaces shape solitary pursuits and social interactions? In this panel discussion, Fiona Candlin and Leslie Topp from Birkbeck are joined by Swati Chattopadhyay from University of California Santa Barbara to consider questions of power and knowledge from the vantage point of micromuseums, cells and bookshelves.

The panel will be chaired by Robert Maniura, Birkbeck, University of London.

This event takes place as part of Birkbeck’s Arts Week and will take place at Room 114, 43 Gordon Square. Attendance is free and open to all but please book your place here.
