If you are a student at Birkbeck, you can update your personal contact details by logging on to your MyBirkbeck Profile and selecting the ‘Edit My Birkbeck Profile’ option.
If you have applied to study one of our courses, you need to email our student administration team to update your details.

What is an NUS card, and how do I get one?

The NUS (National Union of Students) is a voluntary membership organisation which is a confederation of 600 students' unions, amounting to more than 95 per cent of all higher and further education unions in the UK.
The NUS Extra Card entitles you to offers and discounts across a variety of retailers. For more information and to apply online please visit the NUS website.

Am I eligible for an 18+ Student Oyster photocard, and how do I get one?

You are eligible for the 18+ Student Oyster photocard if you meet the following criteria:
- Either you must be enrolled on a full-time course made up of at least 15 tuition-led and / or structured learning hours a week (with attendance at scheduled classes being Monday to Friday only and not including evening classes) over a minimum of 14 weeks on the same course.
- Or you must be enrolled on a part-time course lasting for at least 14 weeks and receiving the full government-funded tuition fees grant.
If you meet the criteria, you can apply online via the TfL website.

You will not be able to enrol or view your exam results while a debt is outstanding.

There are various ways that you can contact us - you will find our contact details here.
If you wish to visit us in person, you will find us are on the ground floor of the main Birkbeck building, Torrington Square (please be aware that you may have to queue in peak hours).
