Research bursaries

The School of Arts at Birkbeck is one of the most vibrant and exciting environments in which to undertake postgraduate studies in the Arts.

The School of Arts invites applications for AHRC-funded Block Grant Partnership awards at doctoral (see My Birkbeck pages AHRC-funded Block Grant (PhD) for further details) and masters level (see My Birkbeck pages AHRC-funded Block Grant (MA) for further details.)

We invite applications for Arts Research Studentships (ARS) (MPhil/PhD study) for students applying to undertake postgraduate research in the departments of English & Humanities, European Languages & Cultures, History of Art & Screen Media, Iberian & Latin American Studies, and Media & Cultural Studies.

We also invite applications for a range of bursaries for Masters degrees for MA and MFA courses across the School.
