Photo competition: Political animals

Each year we run a competition to celebrate Arts Week. In 2017, many of our events explore the meeting of politics and art. To keep our spirits up, our competition takes a playful approach to this theme and we are asking for photos of animals who look like politicians. It could be your own pet, a POTUS-y pooch in the park, a May-like monkey in the zoo, a Cameron-esque pig at the farm or a holiday snap of a camel-Corbyn.

The resemblance can be to historic or contemporary politicians and you can submit via twitter with the hashtags #bbkartsweek2017 and #politicalanimals or via email to

Winners will be announced on May 19th with prizes for our three favourite pictures.
