About us

The Archaeology Society began its life way back in 1985, before George Michael had left Wham! and cerise leg warmers were compulsory.  The committee is voted in every year by the members at the annual AGM.

This is the current committee:

We put a number of lectures on each year which are free to members, plus we organise trips and events.  We also hope to represent the interests of Archaeology students at Birkbeck.
