Delivering a great student experience with world class academics
Birkbeck has always been committed to delivering a seamless student experience from first enquiry through to graduation and to ensure our students have the best possible learning experience and are taught by academics who are experts in their fields.
The work of our Outreach and Widening Participation team draws students into the college, many of whom may have never considered higher education as an option before.
While they are studying at Birkbeck, students have access to world-class academics and researchers. In the 2008 Research Assessment Exercise (RAE) Birkbeck is ranked in the top 25% of UK multi-faculty institutions
They are also fully supported by the My Birkbeck Student Support Services, offering help and guidance from enrolment, registration and study skill to finance and fees.
The College needs funding to maintain such high levels of student experience and maintain its ability to attract the world-class academics to teach at Birkbeck.
Your donation can help to achieve this in a number of ways:
- Increasing the number of teaching and research posts
- Development of pre-entry advice and guidance services
- Development of post-entry learner support services
