BA History

'I chose Birkbeck because it has a good reputation and is the only university that caters for people who work or have family commitments.

'I have a young family and there is no way I could have done a full-time course, so Birkbeck was the best option, not least because it also gives people the opportunity to graduate from university debt-free.

'The tutors offer lots of assistance and advice and always have time for you, plus I have met people at Birkbeck who will always be my friends. I'm now thinking about going on to do an MA at Birkbeck. I have no intention of going anywhere else!'
