Regretting not studying when she was younger, Joanna took advice from her daughter to do her own studies rather than just help with her children’s, and enrolled at Birkbeck.
'Birkbeck offered everything I wanted in higher education. The location was central and evenings suited me as I have three daughters. The quality of the teaching was exceptional; the tutors were real experts in their fields.'After gaining a first-class degree, she missed studying so much, she is now about to start her master's at Birkbeck.
